Parihaka Summit Clean Up

The community is invited to help clean up our Mountain in time for Matariki and the new Sport Northland trail run event being held here on the 9th of June.

Area: Bush area, steep banks, road berm
What will you need: Sturdy footwear, Great attitude and teamwork, gloves if you have them.
We will provide: Some gloves, High Vis Vests, water, lollies, buckets, sunblock, disinfectant, giveaways.

We will be heading down to into the bush and down the banks of Parihaka and all around the top of the mountain.

Within the depths you will find some people have dumped some rubbish. Currently unknown amount of rubbish. The area we will be working on can be quite steep so be prepared to climb a few hills, or cart the rubbish to the truck.

There will be a few giveaways donated by local companies for those helping us with the clean ups.
There are also Keep New Zealand Beautiful badges and stickers available.

Together we are a F.O.R.C.E. to be reckoned.
