Perfectly Unexpected - Exploring Contemporary Surrealism

Not bound to a specific style, like their predecessors, contemporary surrealistic artists employ a wide variety of techniques to illustrate their ideas. Themes of the unconscious mind inform the work, but this approach is combined contemporary ideas and texchniques.

This group show will present recent work by leading New Zealand artists including Rozi Demant, Mark Wooller, Justin Summerton, Hugh Major and Gareth Price.
