Permaculture Farm and Food Forest Tour

Join us for a guided tour of Kahikatea Farm and learn about permaculture and organic principles as we nibble our way around the home gardens and food forest.

We have been on our 16 acres for 13 years and you'll see various phases of establishment of the food forest/forest gardens, with a huge range of common and unusual fruit and nut trees and their companions.

You'll also see our certified organic nursery (established 2009) and have the opportunity to buy plants at a discount. Tour includes hot and cold drinks and snacks. Please bring your own water bottle, sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing for the weather. The tour on this date follows an an optional seed sowing workshop in the morning, and there is a discount for combining the two!
