Find out how to use newspaper photographs in your research.
What photographs from newspapers are held in the Library, and how can you find them?
Many of our researchers are looking for images from newspapers, either because they featured in them, or to illustrate a particular event.
The Library holds large photograph collections for the Evening Post, Dominion, and Free Lance newspapers, as well as smaller collections from the Auckland Star and the Press.
Jenni Chrisstoffels will talk about the extent of these collections, what you can find in them, and how to access the photographs.
About the speaker:
Jenni Chrisstoffels is the Pictorial Research Librarian with the Alexander Turnbull Library.
Come and hear about ways you can connect and use the collections at the Library. Talks will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month until November 2019
