In the August Lunch ‘n Learn session we are joined by photographer and videographer Adena Teka.

A picture tells a thousand words and so much of our marketing material relies on the visual clues.

With a smart phone in our pockets, we are all budding photographers.

We all know social media, your website relies on great images, and your brand is a reflection of your content.

People are the face of brands. That’s you and your team, if you have staff. But would it be fair to say we are all pretty camera shy when it comes to taking photos of ourselves?

Adena will speak to you about what you can do with your phone camera before calling on a professional photographer. She will provide tips to help you prepare and be more confident in people shots.

"Light”, Adena says, “is the most important part of the photography process, the word 'photo' comes from the Greek word meaning light”.

Adena will cover photography tips for your website and social media to help you stand out from the rest.

- lighting and composition
- what you can do with your phone camera
- tips on how to prepare for a personal photo shoot – office and staff photos for websites and personal branding

Come and join us and get photography tips from a pro for your business.
- Tea and coffee provided.
- Bring a guest not already on the mailing list for free.

Limited seats so reserve yours soon via meetup.com.
$20 to attend.

About the speaker
After moving from Palmerston North in January 2018 Adena Teka now lives in the beautiful town of Blenheim, Marlborough, New Zealand.

Previous to this she was a photo editor, photographer and designer for Kevin Bills Photography in Palmerston North. This gave her the perfect platform to build her skills and progress into her own business.

Her favourite type of photography is capturing those moments that are raw and come naturally. She specialises in commercial, wedding, event and real estate photography.
