Picton Christmas Parade & Carols/Prize Giving

A pre Christmas family event of floats from Pre Schools, Schools, other organisations and businesses. The Marlborough Lines Santa Float at the end of the Street Parade with that special man on board.

To participate and be judged will cost $10.00. The winning Floats receive a cash prize of $300 for First Prize, $200.00 second and $100.00 for third.
There is two categories - Best Community Float and Best Business Float.

The prizes will be awarded on the Picton Foreshore during the concert which will be local performers from the local schools and The Bells leading the sing a long of christmas songs and carols.
Father Christmas/Santa will be on the Foreshore for photo opportunities. Free face painting for the children and a variety of stalls to purchase food and drinks.

So bring your sun chairs, hat, sunscreen (because it will be a beautiful sunny day) and rugs for a fun afternoon on our beautiful foreshore. The playground is amazing too!
