A poetry gig like you’ve not attended before. Chris Gallavin is a one man poetry machine, determined to bring back a nation’s passion for its heritage through poetry.
From originals to Baxter, to Bethell to Fairburn and Glover, Chris recites by heart from a plethora of material weaving a narrative of New Zealand and its people in a night of laughs and good fun. $30 at the door (no eftpos), bring a blanket, supper provided, ample accomodation available at the Convent (email old.convent@compassion.org.nz), and return transport on the night from Whanganui and Palmerston North by arrangement (call 021 2388 349). All proceeds to the Guyton and Convent trusts.
You’ll not forget this gig! Come and have a great night at an amazing location - in fact, make a weekend of it!
