Poems in the Waiting Room and Mercy Healthcare invited ten artists to create an original artwork in response to 10 supplied poems. These artworks will be for sale in the Mercy Hospital foyer from August 19 to August 31.

We've also photographed the artworks and created PoARTry postcards. On National Poetry Day, Friday August 23, each inpatient at Mercy will receive one of ten available PoARTry postcards on their lunch time meal tray. With a poem on one side, and a photo on the reverse, the postcards are for the patients to enjoy, share with visitors, and take home for further reading.
