#Quilt? Christchurch Quilters 30th Anniversary Exhibition

This year’s exhibition is a celebration of Quilters and quilt making. Come along and be taken on a journey from the bed to the wall and beyond. This year’s title questions what is perceived as a craft and breaks open the creative, innovative and inspiring world of quilts and quilt makers.

Our artists will challenge your perceptions of quilting and textiles as an art form with the intention of exploring traditional and contemporary narratives associated with stitch and cloth.

#Quilt? can be view at the majestic Great Hall at the Arts Centre, Worcester Boulevard, in Christchurch from the 28th August till 1st September 2019.

In addition to this event, don't forget to visit the Aotearoa Quilters and Studio Art Quilts Associates - Oceania (SAQA) exhibitions which will also be on show at The Arts Centre in the Poumanawa Room, from Wednesday 28th to Sunday 1st from 10am to 4pm.
