Raumati - Summer Exhibition 2019

Kia ora Koutou katoa, Kings Theatre Creative is the largest gallery in the Bay of Islands, just 50mtrs north of the world famous Hundertwasser Toilets in Kawakawa.

Located in the Kings Theatre (opended 1936) we represent over 200+ local artists and offer a diverse range of Te Tai Tokerau - Northland art, including paintings, prints, Toi Maori, jewellery, ceramics and object art.

This summer season through to the end of February we are open 7 days 10:00am - 4:00pm. There are some beautiful works and magic moments in the gallery with our Raumati - Summer exhibition including new works from Theresa Reihana, Greg Barron, Shane Hansen, Vallery Hunton and our awesome member artists.

Manned by a team of dedicated and passionate artists we are proud to celebrate our bi-cutural kaupapa and share the creativity and manaki of our region with visitors. We hope to see you soon, Nau mai, Haere mai.
