Fresh back from the San Diego International Fringe Festival, Tangata Circus Company are delighted to present their show REAL[ISE] at the Lyttelton Arts Factory!
All sorts of silliness ensues when a bag of unfamiliar objects fall from the sky. Appropriate for the whole family, REAL[ISE] is the story of a trio of characters trapped in their daily routine, searching for possibilities beyond the ordinary. The show features a unique blend of circus, physical theatre and comedy.
Tangata Circus Company won "Outstanding Ensemble" and "Best Family Fringe Artists" awards at the San Diego International Fringe Festival.
REAL[ISE] has been described as “slick and snazzy… an hour of circus satisfaction” Theatreview.

REAL[ISE] debuted at the New Zealand Fringe Festival in March this year and won the International Exchange Award to the San Diego International Fringe Festival. Tangata Circus Company were also nominated for Most Promising Emerging Company.
