Come learn and experience the healing art of Reiki; healing through our hands. This introduction is to open the circle for all of those wishing to do Reiki/chakras/crystals Saturday the 14th from 1pm - 5pm and Reiki/Immune System Sunday the 15th of September 1pm - 5pm.

No experience needed. This is a great weekend of hands on and off healing, a beautiful experience of the Usui form of Reiki. And applying this simple and unique healing to our bodies through the chakra system, using crystals & the immune system, the weekend will initiate you to Reiki 1 & 2.

REIKI/Chakras - Reiki 1

In this course you will receive or activate the first attunement in Reiki - Reiki 1 - we will be discovering the healing energy with our hands, and connecting this to the body’s main energy centres, with the use of colour, crystals and Reiki. If you are attuned and would like to connect and learn more about the chakras, this is perfect for you, if you have never done Reiki but are interested in healing and energy then: “haere mai” - this is also a perfect opportunity to discover your uniqueness in a healing modality.

REIKI/Immune System - Reiki 2

Reiki 2, intent of energy, intent of healing, this course is a perfect opportunity to understand the directional flow of Reiki, using the immune system as our intent and our hands as our channels, to hear, feel, sense - or simply know - the wisdom of our energetic bodies. Most importantly, giving and receiving of Reiki (energy).

My name is Laksmi. I’ve been teaching Reiki since 2003 after being introduced and initiated into the healing of Reiki in 1999. I first started my journey as a healer in 1980, learning reflexology, which led me into my diploma of honours in Swedish massage in 1983. From there, learning seemed to come in every direction for me and I am so grateful to all my teachers.

At the moment, I am working at my clinic, Moonlight Healing, in Hokitika where I provide treatments in craniosacral therapy, massage therapy, spiritual healings, reflexology and, of course, Reiki treatments. I’m extremely passionate about Reiki as I believe it is a profound healing that we can all do and experience; it is a natural form of healing, a healing that helps us every day in the journey of our nature in life.
