Rekindle Workshop: Dollmaking with Tikōuka Leaves, Youngster

This class is held in at the Rekindle workshop at The Arts Centre (upstairs in the Boys’ High building at 28 Worcester Boulevard)

This workshop is perfect for older kids, 8 years and up - those comfortable working with scissors. Each child/young person must be accompanied by an adult.

Tī kōuka cabbage tree leaves are such an abundant and multi-purpose material that we can find all around us. This fun hour and a half-long workshop will teach you how to make a simple doll with cabbage tree leaves.

This session is perfect for older children, and younger folk as well, but accompanied by an adult.

If you have access to fallen/brown cabbage tree leaves, please feel free bring a big bunch along with you, but if you haven't found your local source yet, you are most welcome to use ours.
