Renew, Connect, and Reflect

Sheryl Davies, Otago’s regional coordinator for Parent to Parent, has seen parents become increasingly stressed and anxious over the years. She believes services are harder to access due to the overload they are experiencing. Sheryl feels that there are longer wait lists and less community support, and therefore parents are becoming more isolated, and are finding it harder to get assistance.

In this workshop, Sheryl will explore 'Renew, Connect and Reflect', a session she facilitates with Parent to Parent, which focuses on the supports that are available.

Join her as she explores interactive strategies for how a family who is struggling to find support could look after themselves, even when they have little time or energy, and pressure is coming from every angle.
