School Holiday Art Workshops for Kids

School Holiday Fine Art Workshops give kids and teens an opportunity to develop and improve fine art techniques while exploring educational themes. Workshop groups are small for individual attention (4-10 students per class) and all art materials are included in the cost. Please bring lunch and a drink for lunch break.

Imaginative Drawing, Monday 8th July, 9.00 - 3.00, 7 - 14 years, $45
For kids and teens who love to draw! Learn about collaborative drawing and imaginative drawing. This workshop teaches drawing techniques and drawing games that enable creative thinking and challenge ideas about what art can be.

Illustration & Character Design, Tuesday 9th July, 9.00 - 3.00, 7-14 years, $45
Got a budding illustrator in the family? In this workshop kids and teens will learn how to design and sketch characters and then illustrate them in a professional way using ink and colour. Suitable for older kids with an interest in character design.

Crazy Colours & Patterns, Wednesday 10th July, 9.00 - 3.00, 7-14 years, $45
This workshop enables kids to express themselves freely using colours and patterns without the pressure of being able to draw realistically. Kids will learn about colour theory as well as learn new drawing and painting techniques.

Creative Landscape Painting, Thursday 11th July, 9.00 - 3.00, 7 - 14 years, $45
In this workshop young artists will learn how to use acrylic paints including what brushes to use, how to mix paint and how to create a landscape painting on canvas using their own unique style.

Art & Animals, Friday 12th July, 9.00 - 3.00, 7-14 years, $45
An animal themed art workshop for animal lovers. We will start the day by looking at how to sketch animals using basic shapes then learn about how to use watercolour to create a finished animal artwork.
