School Holiday Programme

We provide exciting experiences for your child during the holidays at YMCA at the Ellerslie Recreation Centre. The last thing any child wants to do is to waste their holidays doing something boring!

That’s why our YMCA at the Ellerslie Recreation Centre holiday programme is jam-packed with activities for kids. Here are just a few of the fun activities planned for your tamariki.

5-15 yrs Centre Based - Spring Fling, Superhero Day, Skate School & Robo Arena.
5-15 yrs Create & Design Art Programme - Harry Potter, Mirror Mirror, Wooden Dolls & Ceramics.
5-7 yrs off-site - Alice in Wonderland show, Indoor Playground, Old Lolly Shop & Crystal Mountain.
8-15 yrs off-site - Bumperballs, Tri Star Gymnastics, Northern Rocks & Batting Cages.

It’s important to us that each child has fun in a safe environment, where they can learn new skills, make new friends and do stuff that they wouldn’t normally get to do. Our friendly, welcoming staff are all highly trained, and completely dedicated to helping your kids have an amazing, safe time.

At our YMCA at the Ellerslie Recreation Centre holiday programme, we make sure that there are always activities available, rain, hail or shine. These programmes are available for kids between 5-15 years of age.

Our daily programmes start from 7am (drop off open until 8.30am) and finish at 6pm.
