Shed 2 Triathlon Series Race # 4

Well when you think summer you must be thinking Triathlon! And the Shed 2 Summer Triathlon & Duathlon series is what it is all about this summer.

There are five events this summer and at each event there are three different races with different distance and options that should suit everyone from the absolute beginner to the seasoned athlete.

Walkers are welcome and encouraged to enter. This series is recommended for anyone aged 13 years and over. You can do the event as an individual or if that seems a bit much, get a friend and do it as a team. You could even get two friends and really have a fun and relaxed day out there.

AquaBike:
An option to the series and will be over the sprint distance course but without the run.

Kids Aquathlon:
- Last year we introduced a new event to get the kids involved.
- For the 7 -9 year olds there is a 100m swim followed by a 1km run and the 10-12 year olds have a 200m swim followed by a 2km run.
- Entry for this event will be $10 and registrations will be taken on the day.
- Start will be approx. 9.15 am as we don’t want the kids caught up with the triathlon swimmers.
- The swim will be shallow enough that swimmers can stand up in the water. Parents/helpers can walk in the water or on the shoreline if they wish.

Cranked Cycles Short Course Triathlon:
- 200m Swim
- 14km Cycle
- 2km Run

Avanti Plus Sprint Course Triathlon:
- 750m Swim
- 21km Cycle
- 5km Run

Broker Web Duathlon Course:
- 5km Run
- 21km Cycle
- 2km Run

Pure Catering Catering Aqua Bike:
- 750m Swim
- 21km Bike
