Capital Comedy's newest show 'Sing It Wrong' takes songs you know and love and rewrites the lyrics, making them funnier than they ever were before.

This is a show designed to mix the best bits of live music and comedy, hosted by two lovely local ladies Julz Burgisser and Katie Boyle. They’ll crack jokes, sing their own songs and introduce your lineup of comedy singers.

The acts have written these parodies themselves especially for the night! Hear lyrics that make you laugh until your sides hurt and if you want to, sing along. The line up is full of all types of performers, from comedians to musicians and including people who are usually found doing other types of performance, like actors, sports people and dancers. It’s a lively fun show where anything could happen on stage during their time to shine!

Nominated for Best Regular Show at the Wellington Yearly Comedy Awards night ‘The Wellies’ in Nov 2017, you can be sure you’re in for a quality night.

Laugh along, as we take a song and Sing It Wrong.

“It has comedy to get me laughing, songs to entertain me and a bevy of local talent to sample. What’s not to love?” – Art Murmurs, NZ

Additional Information:
Both hosts are established performers in their own right in Wellington. Julz is both a standup comedian, a lead singer with local rock n roll covers band Wink as well as being the creator and manager of comedy production company Capital Comedy.

Katie is known for her incredible acting in theatre shows, specifically a particular talent for Shakespeare or doing stand up either as herself or a character she’s created. She’s also got a great voice. Killer! They are two busy talented ladies who have created something that uses all their expertise and showcases amazing performers in a way that Wellington hasn’t see before.
