Free workshop - Insomnia. A bad night's sleep? This can be different for every person, both the causes and the effects. So, how does it affect your life?

Some people conk out the moment their head hits the pillow! Which is so annoying, isn't it? Especially if you lie there for ages, tossing and turning, or your mind is like a hamster on a wheel planning every detail of your week, obsessing over the past, or thinking about random things.

But with NLP and Eriksonian Hypnotherapy we can both model the process that good sleepers use to get to sleep quickly and model the process you have used to get to sleep quickly on the odd occassion that you have!

And we also have techniques to reduce those unconscious concerns that rise up to keep us awake at inappropriate times!

Sometimes all people need is a few 'tricks' to help their brain switch off. Other times one or two coaching sessions to remove some emotional concerns that the unconscious mind is holding onto from the past.

And with other people, the reason they are staying awake will reveal itself after 3 or 4 sessions and turns out to be some version of "Oh, I'm not living my best life, so my mind is obsessing over small details. I need to make some bigger life changes to address those concerns".

Usually I find 2 or 3 sessions is enough but the most has been 7 along with the client making some significant changes to their daily routines which then impacted on their ability to turn off their conscious mind and do 'the handover' to their unconscious mind.

During this free workshop we go over the blocks to sleeping well - as far as the mind goes - and the first steps towards finding out whether a few hacks will work for you, or whether you need some deeper approaches that address the underlying concerns that keep you awake at night.

You also learn:
- why telling yourself you should go to sleep doesn't work
- how to prepare a ritual of states that 'bring you down' to sleep-readiness
- what strategies will slow your internal thoughts down
- how your personality type can affect sleep & which strategies you might find most effective
- about options and techniques available to address past issues that prevent sleep...

What you get:
- 1 hour seminar
- Handouts & worksheets
- A list of wider researched strategies that I have collated from consultation with other colleagues as well as reading widely on the issue.
- Discounts on coaching programmes
- Really useful strategies that will make an immediate difference to your ability to relax deeply in just a few minutes.
