All bands, artists, crew and ticket holders camp together at BANDCAMP, overlooking Gisborne's famous Midway Beach,
camp is a 10 min walk to infamous venue Smash Palace, providing a retreat for HEAVY METAL NEW YEAR attendees!
It's so chill, you can even bring your kids!

3 nights stay makes it well worth the 8-hour boat trip and gives you plenty of time to soak up your NZ Metal holiday.
So, come one, come all to feast, camp and party with some of the best Metal and Rock acts NZ has to offer!

FRIDAY Jan 4th:

4 – 8pm: Camper check in, BYO food and drinks. You must show your ticket AND I.D.
6 – 9pm: Metal Market including The Headless Horseman Distro, festival sports, entertainment and food stalls, medieval fighters, medieval games and more!
6:30-10pm approx: Festival Camp Stage featuring Dark Divinity, Uni-fi, Into Orbit & Sciolism.
Midnight: Gates secured and re-opened at approx. 6am.

SATURDAY Jan 5th:

12-3pm: Camper check in. BYO food and drinks. You must show your ticket AND I.D.
3pm-Midnight: SMASHFEST VII - Smash Palace. Licensed venue - no BYO here.
Midnight – 2am: Camp Gates are reopened to camper check in only for the After-party, then secured till 6am. No visitors. No last-minute campers – you must have a pre-sale ticket! Security will be At the Gates of Camp during SMASHFEST to ensure only camp ticket holders get into camp.

SUNDAY Jan 6th:
Chill out, explore Gizzy, sleep, party more, whatever you want :)

MONDAY Jan 7th:
Check out by 9 am
