Social Improv Now: Christmas Jam For Charity

Happy holidays! Comedy On K is hosting a festive improvised jam. Improvisers from around Auckland will create a night of improvised games, gaffs and guffaws… also scenes, silliness and situation… also other alliterations.

Steven Lyons (Nz Comedy Guild Nominated Best MC 2019) recently returned from a tour of the US and didn’t want to see Christmas without some improvised cheer. So… he is inviting you all to come and join in on a jolly social improv night of “Whose Line Is It Anyway” style games. All donations will go to the Auckland City Mission.

There is no pressure to get up, you can be part of the show just by watching and having a good time.

BUT if you do want to get up ALL skill levels are welcome, whether you’ve taken classes, performed with friends or headlined improv festivals or have just always wanted to give it a try. It’s joy, connection and passion, while feeling safe to make delightful choices on stage in front of a supportive crowd.

Come along to The Thirsty Dog, enjoy a beverage, share a laugh and help Aucklanders in need.
