Join us in our next playgroup where we'll be outside to explore nature!
The date for our meet up is Saturday July 20 at Coyle Park, Pt Chevalier from 10am - 12pm. Torrential rain date: Sunday July 28.
Parents and children are invited to dress warmly to explore the shore (la orilla), the plants (las plantas), the wind (el viento) and everything in between. Engaging in play in nature is something we all do (or should do more of!) with our children, but with this unique event we'll be learning how to name our treasures and discoveries in Spanish!
This playgroup will be $10 per family or a koha donation for Chiquimundo members.
This event is open to all families wanting to practise Spanish, or simply provide another environment for their fluent-speaking children to hear and use the language with others. There is no age limit, but as we will be outdoors and near water, please ensure you are responsible for the safety of the children you bring.
Everyone will have simple and useful handouts to take home related to the games and key focus phrases of the session.
