Spice it up! Be inclusive with Professor Edwina Pio, University Director of Diversity, AUT.

With the volatile mix of ethnic patterns in our society, both past and current, how do we create a future all New Zealanders can dream of? Professor Edwina Pio examines how historically we have often shunned stereotypes, yet the future demands compassion and inclusiveness. This talk will look at how we must work to give back for the privilege of living in Aotearoa.

Bio:
Dr. Edwina Pio is New Zealand's first Professor of Diversity, a Fulbright alumna, recipient of a Duke of Edinburgh Fellowship and University Director of Diversity at the Auckland University of Technology. Her research interests encompass the intersections of work, ethnicity, indigenous studies, religion and pedagogy.

A thought leader and widely published, she travels extensively to Europe, North America, Asia and Australia to interact with and share her research with diverse audiences in the academic, business and social sector.
