Please join us for a genre-bending mash up of sound, combining explosive vocals and lush melodies with dirty, gritty beats, noise, delicate drones and fragile landscapes. In between experimental art pop / virtuosic extended voice / noise / participatory performance, this project appropriates digital aesthetics and sensibilities within the irregular and imperfect world of the human voice and analog instruments.

“I love chaos, I love mess, human imperfection.”

Stephanie Pan is a vocalist, performance artist, maker, and curator. Her work combines interdisciplinary art, experimental theatre, and extended vocal techniques.

Pan trades in controlled chaos: a visceral, mutating combination of theatre, performance art, experimental music. Passionate and intense, her work often explores the limits of the body and voice. She has performed extensively throughout the US and Europe, and has presented her work in venues and festivals as varied as CTM Festival Berlin, Young Vic Theatre London, La MaMa Theater NYC, Amsterdamse Stadsschouwburg, IDFA, Beursschouwburg Brussel, and Gemeentemuseum Den Haag.

She is co-founder and co-curator of the inter-media platform Modern Body Festival in The Hague. Ms. Pan received her Masters in Theatre from DasArts: Advanced Studies in the Performing Arts, and holds a BA from UC Berkeley in Music and Applied Mathematics, and a First Phase Diploma, with distinction, in Classical Singing from The Royal Conservatory, The Hague.

Stelios Manousakis (NL/GR) is an artist exploring relationships between time, space, body, system, and sound. His work lies at the convergence of art, philosophy, science and engineering, and is particularly concerned with the invisible and the ephemeral, and with dynamically shaping sensation, perception and experience.

Extending from performances, to environments and interactive installations, to compositions, fixed media pieces, and film music, Manosakis’ work often combines algorithmic finesse with the expressive improvisation.

Stelios’ work has been shown internationally in varied venues and festivals such as ZKM Karlsruhe, dOCUMENTA, GLOBALE Festival, Seattle Art Museum, IDFA Amsterdam, Museum of Contemporary Art Vigo, Dag in de Branding, ICMC, NIME, Rewire festival, Audio Art festival, and Athens Digital Arts Festival.
