Studio One Toi Tū - Clay Explorations

This class gives you time to explore the process of shaping clay as well as extending your knowledge about the processes of a ceramic studio. Shape sculptures using figurative or abstract forms for inspiration and enjoy expressing your individual concept. Class demonstrations will cover a wide range of sculpting techniques including throwing vessels on the pottery wheel, surface treatments (including carving), applications, and decorating with slip colours and glazes.
