Sulco d'Alma

Sulco d’Alma are a Wellington based samba funk band with a groove which draws deep from the syncopated lures of Latin America.

They pull a strong influence fromprolific artist such as Azymuth and Gene Harris.

Jacqui Nyman on bass, Jules Blewman on Guitar, Ayrton Foote on keys and Andreas Lepper on percussion.

They are lead by drummer, Thomas Friggens, who formed the band in 2015. Since their formation, Sulco d’Alma have developed a unique and hypnotic live performance which captures the skill and sensitivity of these talented musicians. Don’t miss the opportunity to see them perform live!
