Sundays at Ira’s is Jane Keller’s latest cabaret show and features Michael Nicholas Williams on piano. Jane’s Great Aunt Alice was a personal friend of Ira Gershwin and was a regular guest at his Sunday night parties. Ira enjoyed entertaining his friends: George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Noel Coward, Harold Arlen, Jerome Kern, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers were some of the many regulars. When Jane inherited Alice’s diaries, she discovered more than she could have imagined. Sundays at Ira’s is full of marvellous songs and imaginative stories about these colourful people. This is the fifth cabaret show Jane and Michael have created together. Originally from the US, Jane is a singer/actor and a much sought after singing teacher. Michael is a pianist, composer, musical director, playwright and a film director.

Venue is the Wesley Wing, Aratoi Wairarapa Museum of Art and History.
