We have an exciting market for you for 2019!... make a note in your diary or calendar for our next market.
If you haven't already visited the Sustainable Papakura Market, come along for a great day out to see an amazing array of gifts, sustainable products, crafts, jewellery, art, plants, assorted jams and chutneys, knitted wear and other goods for sale at the market. NB. Cash only.
At every market we will be hosting a Sustainable Living Skills workshop, there will be a different activity at each market. We will also have information about how to reduce your waste, recycling, looking at alternatives to living more sustainably.
The workshop for this month is making your own reusable/recycable container to collect your small recycable items at home, which can be dropped off at our Collection Point at future markets or at The Corner. There will be a small charge of $2 per container.
Sustainable Papakura Collection Point - The following items can be dropped off: Reading glasses, e-waste, used toothpaste tubes and toothbrushes, wine bottle lids, clean coffee pods and soft plastics. Batteries can still be dropped off for a gold donation, we have had to apply this fee to dispose of the batteries correctly.
NB. These items are collected on behalf of other organisations. The above can also be dropped off at The Corner from Tuesday to Saturday each week.
Enjoy the atmosphere of the market and have a relax at Twilight Cafe... you can bring your own keep cup too!
