The Telegraph Hotel and The NZ Deerstalkers' Association Golden Bay Branch hold this shoot each year. It is for open sight .303 rifles and is 20 shots only - 5 standing and 5 kneeling from the 100m mound, and 5 sitting and 5 prone from the 200m mound.
The shoot is timed to occur on the Sunday nearest Armistice Day. All proceeds go to the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter Trust.
