The Chulagosinga Sutta tells the story of the Buddha’s visit to three of his disciples who are living together. He finds they are dwelling in peaceful harmony and he asks them how this is so. Their answer has become a classic example of the ideal Buddhist community where individuals are so in tune with one another they ‘mix like milk and water’.
Tonight Aryagita will use this incident to draw out principles that we can use to live in harmony with others.
