Tea Time Talkies: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968)

On Sunday 17th November, gather your chums and join us for Tea Time Talkies at The Roxy!

We're bringing you a classic screening of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968), including a 30-min film intermission where a delicious Devonshire Tea* awaits (a delicious cup of tea and traditional homemade scone with cream and jam) - an ideal setting for those chill-out, indulgent Sunday afternoons!

This event is family friendly - all ages welcome - and we'll have chocolate milk for kids to enjoy with their scone (we promise to keep the Child Catcher away...)

While truant from school, young siblings Jeremy and Jemima meet the beautiful Truly Scrumptious, who falls for their widowed father, Caractacus Potts, and his various oddball inventions, including the family's noisy rebuilt car, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. One day at the beach, Caractacus tells Truly and the children a fanciful fable about the villainous Baron Bomburst and his evil designs on the Potts family car.
