Technology Holiday Programme - Roblox Studio (10+)

Brain Play's technology based holiday programmes begin on January 7th and run Monday - Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm.

We also offer childcare for just $8.00 per hour from 7:45am - 8:45am, and 3:15pm - 4:15pm or 5:15pm.

This course is Roblox Studio - Roblox is the latest trend to take over the gaming world! We know your kids love playing games, but we can teach them how to create their own games using a Roblox unique programming language called Lua.

Students will learn about coding concepts and how to format these to modify and improve their online worlds. There is a design aspect to this course, which gives students the opportunity to build their dream landscape from the ground up.

Roblox subscription required (free) as well as Roblox Studio downloaded to the desktop. Username and password to be brought in on a post-it.

Some of our programmes have age restrictions, due to their difficulty. Please follow these restrictions carefully as your child will not be accepted into the class on the day if they do not meet the age requirement.

- Ages 5+ may participate in our coding, robotics (one day course only), minecraft intro and animation days
- Ages 8+ may participate in any of the same days, plus electronics, 3D printing, and website design
- Ages 10+ may participate in any of the same days, plus Roblox studio

Students are required to bring their own laptop. Previously we have accepted tablets, but we have introduced brand new activities that require the use of a desktop device.

Devices are not required for the robotics days. Chrome Books are suitable for some programmes. Please check our website to confirm. Laptops are available for hire at a rate of $8.00 per day.

We offer early-bird and volume discounts. Please email us before booking for three days or more so we can apply the discount for you.
