About the series:
In this series of four talks, deepen your understanding of the culture that produced the remarkable treasures in Terracotta Warriors: Guardians of Immortality. Trace the evolution of ideas from ancient China to today, as our panel speakers debate why the exhibition’s themes are still relevant. Topics will range from symbolism and superstition in architecture, to how the Chinese and Māori customs that accompany death are adapting for a changing world.
