The University of Auckland School of Music is proud to present the Douglas Lilburn Trust Composition Prize Concert.

This concert is the major event on the School of Music’s composition and sonic arts calendar. Prizes from the Lilburn Trust are awarded by an adjudication panel to top student composers and performers from the University of Auckland. This year we are pleased to welcome special guest adjudicator, composer Chris Cree Brown.

Clovis McEvoy: Pillars of Introspection, audio-visual installation
Joshua Taylor: nothofagus caligula, mixed sextet
Blake Clawson: August Moonrise (III and IV from Songs of a Grateful Soul), mezzo and piano
Anthony Baker: Call, cry, for wind quartet
Rocielli Fernando: Commingle (to blend thoroughly into a harmonious whole), for violin and jazz piano trio
