Dr Mike Joy returns to our area with this powerful presentation. He will discuss the environmental impacts of what we eat, food’s relationship to climate change, and the urgency of changing our food systems for ecological and human health. 

Dr Joy (Victoria University) is an outspoken advocate for environmental protection in New Zealand and is well known for his freshwater activism. He has received many awards over the past decade for speaking out on ecological, environmental, public education and academic freedom issues.
