The Homegrown Garden Tour and Fete will cover four stunning, established gardens in the Mayfield and Mount Somers Districts, inland from Ashburton, and host a fete with a beautiful array of goodies on offer.
We are very excited about the gardens on the tour this year. They will include Sara and Blair Gallagher’s ‘Rangiatea’, with breath-taking views of Mount Somers; Penny and Mark Greenslade’s rambling country garden ‘Somerset’, which will double as this year’s fete site; Mike and Nicky Salversen’s ‘Wakare’ nestled into the foothills; and finally ‘Sara and Paul Grigg’s large country garden at ‘Surrey Hills Station’.
The gardens are sure to appeal and inspire. And don’t miss the Fete, with 50 stalls confirmed already, there will be plenty of creative and delicious options to tempt you!
Some come and enjoy and day in the country seeing some truly special gardens in the Canterbury foothills.
Tickets will be sold at RuralCo, Joosh, Terraviva and Lushingtons for $25 or $30 on the day ($10 fete only). PM us on facebook with any questions.
