Where: St James Conservation Area, Tophouse Rd, Hanmer Springs, Hurunui

Restrictions: R16

A true MTB Epic of just over 100km! What ever greatness other courses claim, you'll probably find it during the Epic! Competitors will climb to just over 1300m with an average altitude well over 800m.

The course takes in two alpine lakes, 5 major river valleys and comes within 10km of the top of the Lewis Pass and the main divide of the Southern Alps. Quite possibly the greatest one-day MTB race in NZ, but don't take our word for that.

All within the stunning, epic New Zealand sub alpine high country landscapes of St James Station behind Hanmer Springs. The Epic has it all - mountain passes, high country lakes, sweeping tussock high country, beech clad braided river valleys, river crossings, swing bridges and superb single track....

Entry opens 1st Aug.
