Recently returned from concerts in Mexico, USA and Australia with the New Zealand Guitar Quartet, Jane Curry and Owen Moriarty will be playing a programme of music for two guitars featuring works by New Zealand composers John Psathas and Jack Body alongside an imaginative rendering of Sakura (Variations) by Polish composer Marek Pasiezcny and the charming and elegant Grande Duo by the 19th Century composer Napoleon Coste.
The Linkwood Duo – with their 2019 Naxos CD release Music from New Zealand for Two Guitars, were finalists in the classical artist of the year, Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards.
Tickets are available from Marlborough Museum, Brayshaw Heritage Park, 26 Arthur Baker Place.
