Let the urban folk of the six piece Wooden Box Band take you on a journey through the twisted paths trod by the people of of Aotearoa and beyond as they try and make sense of this mixed up muddled old world.

Find out what the "folk darlings of the Wellington scene" put down in the studio late last year for their fourth album, Far Far Away, which has had good reviews here and abroad. Speaking of which they like to bring a few old favourites to the mix as well, so don't be surprised to get a blast of up tempo Dylan thrown into the mix.

Expect a combo of fine harmonies over a bed of acoustic and electric guitars, with an occasional side salad of trumpet and fiddle. This is one of the the band's favourite gigs with a laid back vibe, good beer and food and it's free and family friendly. Tickin' all the boxes with the Wooden Box Band!
