Thelonious Punk is a modern jazz group from the Bay of Islands. We play material from the avante-garde 50s 60s 70s jazz scene including swing, bebop, latin, funk and fusion. Our style is heavily influenced by the music of Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Joe Henderson, Dave Brubeck, Charles Mingus and of course Thelonious Monk.

From 2016 we have worked towards incorporating original material into our sets, and have released these EPs on Spotify, iTunes and YouTube.
