Trapping and Monitoring Extravaganza

The Department of Conservation, with the support of the Summit Road Society are offering this FREE community event that introduces new trappers to the basics of trapping, as well as providing tips to help improve results for those more experienced. We will also be talking about how to monitor pests to find out what's in your backyard. Learn about how you can be part of the movement to help save our native biodiversity.

This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY event - there will be entertainment for the kids and they can build their own tracking tunnel to earn a Toyota Kiwi Guardians medal!
