Massey University Drama Society presents 'Under Pressure' - A Trio of One-Act Plays.

'Under Pressure' brings to life three one-act plays (Breathless, Look Me In the Eyes, and Mo and Jess Kill Susie) to explore life and death and the choices we make inbetween.

Summer Adams wants to love. Summer Robertson wants to live. Summer Davis wants to win – but at what cost? ‘Breathless’ is a heartfelt clash of triumph and tragedy, and an emotional exploration of when to hold tight to the things that matter, or when to let go.

Look Me In the Eye by Lindsay Price
Set in a twisted utopian future where any crime is punishable by death, this is the exploration of five young adults that are forced to challenge their beliefs, faiths, dreams and mortalities as they are faced with the choice of remaining obedient and silent, or speaking out and reaping the consequences.

Mo and Jess Kill Susie by Gary Henderson
Two armed Maori women wait with their bound and unconscious captive. Jess is calm and resolute, while Mo is restless and volatile – Gary Henderson’s ‘Mo and Jess Kill Susie’ is an exploration of racism, privilege and tension set to explode.
