Undieground Burlesque is a show based in 1940's World War II has been going on for years. New Zealand is at war alongside Britain. Far far away from the front line is a capital city called Wellington. The war effort is strong here: Matiu/Somes Island has heavy anti-aircraft gun emplacements installed, the battle of Manners Street is still fresh in locals minds, construction of Wrights Hill Fortress gun tunnels is on track and Troops have been trained at Trentham Military Camp in Upper Hutt.

One promising young lady has a chance meeting with a handsome off duty Air Vice-Marshal on a flight from Wellington to Auckland. The Air Vice-Marshal had been in Wellington to recruit for the Air Empire Training Scheme (EATS) and he took a fancy to this young lady. She was recruited into EATS specifically because she was earmarked for a top secret mission with No. 69 Squadron RAF. But all this would come later, first she started working for New Zealand National Airways Corporation. This promising young lady would become Air Hotness on Flight 6969.

Set in WWII Undieground Burlesque is a show set on an airplane, with take off and landing procedures. Within this backdrop each show has a theme that connects the performers.
