Wadestown School House and Garden Walk Fundraiser

The eagerly anticipated Wadestown School House & Garden Walk is back this November. Tickets for this major fundraising event are always in demand as some of Wellington's most beautiful homes and gardens are opened for show.

At least 14 homes and gardens will be part of this year's walk. They come with incredible stories, beautiful interiors and stunning outdoor spaces. The famous ARThouse is also back, featuring pieces for sale from a variety of artists.

Two houses will offer morning and afternoon teas, which are included in the ticket price, and there will also be refreshments available for purchase at other homes. The mouthwatering deli stall will also be open for business.

This is the school's major fundraiser and takes place only every three years. This year's event will help raise funds for a much needed playground makeover that will not only benefit the school but all children in the area.

A reasonable level of fitness will be needed to walk up and down Wadestown's streets, and as with any interior design event children may not find this as fascinating as grown-ups.
