Haere mai ki te rā whakanui i te Tiriti o Waitangi ka tū ki Manukau.

Waitangi ki Manukau is coming to the Manukau Sports Bowl, 2019. Celebrate our national day by enjoying local culture, including a fantastic line-up of live music, including local performers.

Visit the Waitangi village to taste Māori and Pacific kai, and learn about the significance of the Treaty of Waitangi through interactive, family-friendly activities. Learn some new Māori words and check out the arts and crafts stalls, suitable for all ages.

The celebration will begin with a public pōwhiri at 9am – offering a special chance for all Aucklanders experience a traditional Māori welcoming ceremony.

Come along to Waitangi ki Manukau for a fantastic family day out to enjoy culture, music, kōrero and kai to celebrate our national day.

Please note that the 2019 venue has moved from Hayman Park to Manukau Sports Bowl. The entrance to the event is through 'Gate A' off Te Irirangi Drive.
