Join us on our annual Walk of Witness on Good Friday as we carry the cross between four Lower Hutt churches. A walk of witness takes the Christian message out into the community. It is a group of united Christians witnessing and walking together.
The Walk of Witness consists of four ‘scenes’ from the passion story, one presented by each of the participating churches, and with the witnesses following the cross from one church to the next during the walk.
The programme is:
9.30am - In Gethsemane - Hutt City Baptist 132-146 High Street
9:55am - The Trial - Ss Peter & Paul 60 Knights Road
10:20am - The Crucifixion - St Mark’s 58 Woburn Road
10:55am - The Burial - St James’ 71 Woburn Road
