The Trans Jazzmen featuring some of the best trad jazz players from Australia and NZ, will present an evening of hot, swinging jazz standards from New Orleans.
The new and exciting 6 piece Traditional Jazz Band will be led by Lindsay Meech, Auckland (cornet, vocals), with Jason Downes, Melbourne (clarinet), Brian Kelly, Auckland (trombone), Don Franks, Wellington (banjo), Graham Parker, Wellington (double bass), and Ian Smith, Melbourne (drums, vocals).
Bring friends along to share a lively evening with fine musicians. Come early to get a good seat. See you there.
