Wellington Jazz Festival 2019: Lauren Nottingham Quartet

Through composition, vocal interpretation, character and authenticity, Lauren Nottingham has tales to tell and a journey to take you on. Taking inspiration from progressive rock rhythms and the nostalgia of new wave, whilst remaining within the frame of contemporary jazz, Lauren presents her own repertoire of original works and collaborations, alongside reinterpretations of classic pop songs through the 70s and 80s. Accompanied with drums, bass and guitar, the band promises to leave you hanging off every beat and will authenticate a varied, fresh mix of sounds from different worlds.
