Wilderkids is the ultimate school-holiday programme for kids aged 5 to 12. Your child will spend their days exploring nature and learning about the world around them.

The core of this programme is respecting each other and the environment. And of course, having maximum fun.

Cost: $56 per child, per day and there's a 10% discount for full week bookings.

Oh - did we mention that every day is different? Check out this awesome line up of activities:
Week 1
Monday 8th July: Wilderkids Wild World - Create your own world! Go on an adventure through the bush to find the perfect spot to build a settlement. Work with your tribe and the nature around you to create a village. Make wood cookie medals and maps of your very own Wilderworld.

Tuesday 9th July: Wild Weeds and Sensational Seeds - Forage in the hillsides for forest food, and use all your observation skills to spot edible plants to snack on. If we are stealthy perhaps we will spot some creatures to! Back at camp we will become wild gardeners; plant micro greens and make seed bombs.

Wednesday 10th July: Mud Monsters and Tree Spirits
Be a messy mud monster and splash and squelch your way through the day! Look for tree spirits and plant native trees. Hunt for clay mines in the forest, and shape your own pottery to take some of the mud madness home.

Thursday 11th July: Magical Musical Midwinter - Explore mount Victoria using all your senses to experience the winter season. Explore the sights, sounds textures and tastes of the forest. Make yummy kai and create your own musical instruments from recycled and natural materials.

Friday 12th: Winter Warmer - Come celebrate the changing seasons around the Wilderkids campfire! Create your own fairy fire or make a no sew patchwork scarf to cuddle up in. Boil up tasty hot chocolate, bush tea and roast marshmallows over the flames.

Week 2
Monday 15th July: Awesome Architectural Adventure - Let your imaginations run wild! Design a den, build a nest for a rest or create luxurious forest palace. What will you build? Let your curiosity lead the way through a fun filled day of nature play.

Tuesday 16th July: Sandy Sea Sculptors - Become a wild artist, a Picasso in the sand! Take inspiration from the nature around you, at the beach and in the bush, to create land art. Give back with a beach clean-up. Create a sand sculpture and make a giant sea picture using recycled material. Craft beautiful clay sea creatures to take home with you.

Wednesday 17th July: Magical Mushrooms - In the winter undergrowth, something mysterious is afoot. Explore and adventure through the forest, become an expert fungi finder, and craft enchanting sculptures, models, and terrariums to take your own piece of the magic away with you.

Thursday 18th July: Snug as a Bug - What do insects get up to in winter? Become an insect inspector and search for signs of life on the ground and in the air. Make your own crunchy critters and a luxurious insect hotel to keep the bugs snug all winter long.

Friday 19th July: Winter Wonderland - Come and celebrate the season! Search the bush high and low for signs of winter, cook a yummy kai and make your own beeswax candles to take home and brighten up the cold months.

Wilderkids is an award-winning programme run by the fun folks from the Sustainability Trust (Yes, we love a bit of alliteration).
