How long can you hold your breath?
30 seconds, 1 minute at a push?
World Champion free diver William Trubrige can hold his breath for 7 minutes and 29 seconds (stationary breath hold). He turned that breath into a world record of 102m on 20 July 2016 in the ‘constant weight without fins’ category.
His story is one of endurance, mind control and science. A spiritual journey even. How does he do it? Come and hear first–hand on Tuesday 2 April 5:30pm – 7:30pm. All proceeds go to the Inspire Foundation Marlborough.
The evening will commence with a brief ceremony to Inspire grantees followed by an address by keynote speaker William Trubridge.
